We decided to stay at the Dakota Edinburgh. I had heard nothing but good things about the Dakota Deluxe in Glasgow and Dakota Eurocentral so i wanted stay there for a while. Dakota Edinburgh is located near South Queensferry those who drive, they have excellent parking facilities but to those non-drivers or learner drivers (like moi) you will need to hop on the train or get the bus. We got the train from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Haymarket, then got the train from Edinburgh Haymarket to Dalmeny and then a wee 5 minute taxi to the hotel. Travel time all in all was about an hour/ an hour and a half from the flat to the hotel.

We had the most amazing stay at Dakota Edinburgh. Honestly. I didn't want to leave. The interior of the hotel is just goals. The staff couldn't have been more lovely, welcoming and friendly. The food was out of this world, the drinks, just everything was truly sublime and perfection. Massive thank you to the team at Dakota Edinburgh for taking such good care of myself and Ross. We had a truly perfect night. I couldn't recommend this hotel chain more. Can't wait to visit again soon. Rx
