Funky Cocktails with Funkin at Ocho

On Friday night, I had the privilege to go along to Glasgow's hidden gem, Ocho, located at Speirs Wharf.  It was a sister night out and what a night it was. I met some really lovely people, the staff were so so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant decor was everything i love and more, proper retro mix matched vintage furniture. The first impressions were top notch so i couldn't wait to taste some delicious food and of course drink a helluva lot of sweet ass cocktails.

Every course was served in a tapas form linked to the cocktail we were drinking - how clever is that! Who knew you could cook with tequila *hands up* I didn't..! Anything including tequila i am on board with. It is really hard to pick my favourite dish the food was absolutely sublime. If i really really really had to pick.. it would be a draw between the king prawn and avocado dish and the coconut and white chocolate cheesecake - but then again the Chicken tequila was up there with the best. I just loved it all!

What is really special about this little restaurant is that it's that friendly, warm and welcoming. There is really lovely atmosphere day and night - this place truly is a Glasgow treasure. You totally forget that you are sitting in a restaurant in Glasgow City Centre, its comfortable, quiet and cosy! Since I started living in the west end surrounded by loads brunch places my brunchin lovin has went through the roof so i was so buzzing to find out that Ocho have started a Build Your Own Brunch, a wee play on BYOB ;)! It's so annoying when you order a dish and you have deal with the extra adds on, you don't want and don't like. For me, its a side salad. I personally don't see the point in a side salad with my smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast. This idea is a perfect way of banishing those fears - you order what you want and how you like it and you know exactly whats coming . I have totally fallen in love with this little restaurant. I could not recommend it more if i tried. Can't wait to go back and try out more of their menu. You can follow Ocho on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook just simply search the name ochoglasgow.

My OOTN was a heart print shirt from Topshop, bought it a couple of years ago now but wear it pretty much every autumn! ( To shop similar click here Love Heart Print Casual Shirt) I absolutely love statement pieces especially in A/W. I paired it with Bleach Cropped Kick Flare Dree Jeans MAY Sock Boots and on my ears i wore purple tassel VERY statement  EARRINGS WITH LONG FRINGE from Zara . For a jacket, I went with a very classic black leather jacket from Mango - Appliqué biker jacket .
Hope ye's enjoyed reading ! Rx
